I have served as editor-in-chief of Downers Grove North’s student newspaper, The Omega, for the past two years and was the sports editor the previous year. I also presented at the 2016 NSPA Conference in Indianapolis about censorship issues and how to combat them. Outside of journalism, I've been involved in badminton and leadership programs such as Snowball and Everyday Leadership Inspired Through Example. Additionally, I serve on the student advisory council to the principal.

Throughout all of these amazing experiences, I have learned how valuable the truth is. No matter how hard to accept, the truth is the most instrumental part of making the world better. In spite of censorship and legal issues, the staff and I have pushed to deliver what is actually happening our school and community, not what people want us to think.
