Photography
On staff, I often help edit pictures. I crop, brighten and cut out pictures often. I took the photos below of our school's badminton team. I found this sport particularly difficult to photograph due to the gym's poor lighting and how hard it is to see the birdie. In an ideal situation, the birdie would be more visible in the pictures, but it moves so fast that it often was out of the frame in the more clear pictures. I chose a worms eye view so that people could see how much of the body is involved in a sport that is commonly seen as a backyard sport.

Below are pictures I took to cover the school trip to France. I wanted to take more creative risks that I would not often take for our publication. Over the course of 2 weeks, I had the opportunity to capture so many different scenes.
